Brain Based Safety Platform

Brain Based Safety has created a platform specifically designed to support frontline supervisors. All products are digital. Leaders sometimes indicate that they are not trained in behavior change. They do want to improve employee behavior but feel uncertain because they do not know how to do it. Therefore, for example, they dread giving Toolbox talks about behavior. The platform aims to help overcome this reluctance.

Digital Platform offers:

• Toolboxes: a combination of an animation (4 minutes) with ± 5 questions. These can be discussed in and with the team. It takes 45 to 60 minutes. • Posters: a poster can be printed from each Toolbox. This displays a summary of the animation. It can be displayed until the next Toolbox. • Lectures: there are recordings of a PowerPoint presentation about the theory. They are intended to give supervisors more background knowledge on the themes of the Toolboxes. • Finally, the individual animations are also available to be used during a meeting or a conference.

Available Languages:

• Currently, the Toolboxes are available in Dutch, English, and French. • The individual animations (without the questions) are available in 11 other languages: German, Slovenian, Polish, Ukrainian, Czech, Hungarian, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Turkish, and Arabic. The questions for these Toolboxes are provided separately. • Work is currently underway on Toolboxes in these languages with integrated questions.

Training:

The supervisors may wish to undergo training before giving the Toolboxes. Experts can also be trained to support the supervisors in giving these Toolboxes.
